Giant's Causeway Tour

At the scheduled time we'll meet up at 31 Chichester Street and set off on our day trip to Giant's Causeway.

The first stop of the day will be at Dunluce Castle. We'll make a short 10-minute stop here so you can take photos of the clifftop medieval castle ruins.

We'll then head to Giant's Causeway, where you'll have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its uniquely spectacular landscapes will make you feel like you're on another planet!

Giant's Causeway is an enormous collection of interlocking basalt columns created around 50 to 60 million years ago by an ancient volcanic eruption. The cooling of the volcanic lava led to the formation of some 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns. According to legend, the columns are the remains of a causeway built by the giant Finn McCool himself.

After visiting Giant's Causeway, we'll head to the Dark Hedges. We'll spend around 20 minutes in this mysterious spot, an avenue lined with beech trees which has become an iconic attraction in Northern Ireland - so much so that Game of Thrones has used it as a filming location for the King's Road!

It'll then be time to return to Belfast, where we'll arrive after around 6.5 hours of touring.

Finishing point

The tour will finish at the same meeting point in Belfast.

If you'd prefer, you can be dropped off in Dublin at the end of the activity instead of returning to Belfast, which must be paid in cash on the day. You must make your local tour provider aware of this by sending an email to the address that appears on your voucher upon making your booking.
