If I had to choose this activity again, I'd probably only do Florence, since they give very little time to see both cities and it takes a long time to get there. The app said they spoke Spanish, but practically everything was in English. The girl, Lumi, tried her best, but we were so rushed that we didn't have time to see the cities.

The excursion went well but without the possibility of seeing the places in detail. Instead of explaining the activity on the bus and then leaving 10 minutes at each point for free time, it would have been better to explain a little about the main features through an audio guide, in my opinion. Translate this opinion into English.

The guide was excellent, taking us to all the places of interest and sticking to the itinerary. The only downside I found was that they rushed the schedule too much, and we arrived at the terminal at 5:15 PM; they should arrive by 5:00 PM at the latest. It's true that the MSC excursions also arrived at that time and were dropped off at the terminal like everyone else, which reassured us. There were a lot of people trying to board, and it took us about half an hour longer to get to the ship. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Not a very positive experience, which is strange since I have done several with Civitatis and all were great. Matias was excessively quick, only dropping us off at a few points in the cities and that was it. We took the option of having a companion for an additional cost (I know it's not a guide), but Google Maps literally drops you off at the same 3 points for free. And I repeat, I am currently doing another one in Rome and the experience is what Civitatis has always provided me. Opinion translated. Show original.

It's not up to the standard of a cruise ship excursion. It should be made clear that there's no guide, just a simple attendant who only reads and doesn't speak the language. As a travel agent, I absolutely cannot recommend this activity. For now, they're not a viable alternative to traditional tour companies.

The guide was supposed to be Spanish-speaking, but everything was in English, led by another English cruiser. She was going so fast we couldn't even take a picture. In the end, we got lost in Florence, and thanks to another couple, we were able to reach the meeting point. They called her four or five times, but she didn't answer her phone. So, I paid between €47 and €54 for her to explain things in Spanish, and she didn't speak Spanish, and we couldn't even do the tour with her. A total disaster; we paid for nothing.

The email wasn't clear, and we understood they were expecting us at the La Spezia bus station. When we arrived, no one was there, so we called and were told they were at the cruise terminal. We had to take a taxi, which cost us 15 euros. The guide was very nice, but she didn't speak much Spanish, and we'd been told the tour was with a Spanish-speaking guide. I was a little disappointed because Civitatis had worked out very well for us up until now. In the end, we were able to enjoy the day, but with some initial frustration.

Lumi, the guide, was very kind and friendly and treated us very well, even though she didn't speak Spanish. This upset me quite a bit, as I had hired a Spanish-speaking guide for Florence, and she didn't speak it. So we could only follow the group without understanding anything. This didn't reflect what we paid for. It didn't seem right, especially since before going to Pisa we stopped in Lucca and picked up a group of English people who were with Federico, who did speak Spanish. We paid for something we didn't get.

The activity was great, although we arrived at the cruise terminal just in time. The only problem was that we had booked tickets to the Leaning Tower of Pisa for eight people; two of them were under 12 but over 8 years old. We arrived in Pisa just in time, and when we went to climb the tower, they had given us tickets for only six. Two parents had to stay outside, and the security guards treated us very badly. We left Pisa with a very bad feeling and unable to go to the top of the tower because of this setback.

No explico absolutamente nada.

This activity was terrible. I'm a regular Civitatis user, and I've never had such a bad experience. The guide was more of an escort than a guide. He explained absolutely nothing. He simply gave us a map of Florence and Pisa and that was it. Florence is a destination rich in explanations, and in this case, we received none. We were searching for explanations on Google. Bad, very, very bad.
