Vall de Nuria Rack Railway

By booking a rack railway ticket, you'll be able to reach the Vall de Nuria and discover all its highlights. You'll have a very pleasant trip surrounded by mountains and you'll see the distinctive scenery of the Catalan Pyrenees from Ribes de Freser.

Did you know that the rack railway is one of the most iconic features of the Vall de Núria and the Ripollés region? The railway has four stations and a halt. The stations are Ribas-Enlace, Ribes-Vila, Queralbs, and Nuria and the halt is Rialb, located between Ribas de Freser and Queralbs, which functions as an optional stop. After arriving, you can visit the famous sanctuary or the Vall de Nuria ski resort at your own leisure.

To top it off, the ticket will also give you access to the Coma del Clot cable car, the exhibition on the history of the Nuria rack railway, the "Memories of Snow" exhibition, the Interpretation Center, the audiovisual display "The valley of the 5 elements" and the Basilica Sanctuary of Nuria.

One-way trip

In this case, you'll take the transfer service between Ribes de Freser and Vall de Núria.

Return trip

If you opt for this type of ticket, you'll also enjoy the return journey from Vall de Núria to Ribes de Freser.

On the return journey, you can also get off at any of these stops:

Ribes-Enllaç.
